THE REAL McCOY
On Saturday 28th September 1996 I went to a sixtieth birthday celebration at WANTAGE SCHOOL. At this event there was live entertainment from members of the family and friends, at one point we all sang 'BRING ME SUNSHINE' the Morecombe and Wise theme tune.
After the family had done their bit we had a demonstration of Irish Dancing from some local school girls before a live band (called THE REAL McCOY) came on stage to play a mix of Irish and Scottish music for us all to dance to.
As I could not do the dances I just sat and watched the others and listened to the Live Band.
